French Course Nivea 7 – Cheyney Kirzinger

Cheyney Kirzinger – PreCam Elementary I attended a 6 day French Immersion course at the University of Saskatchewan. The course focused mostly on oral language but also included writing and reading. I teach French Immersion so this was a great course to practice using French beyond my grade level. It was an enriching experience that helped to develop my oral language and writing skills. I practiced conjugating verbs in multiple tenses, learned new vocabulary and learned some oral language activities that I can apply to my classroom.

Twila Ross – Hector Thiboutot Community School On January 29, 2016 I attended a seminar aimed at teaching people to teach archery safely in schools in Kinistino, SK. The seminar was put on by NASP, National Archery in Schools Program and was for the training of coaches. In the seminar we were taught the basics of the sport as well as the set-up of a safe archery range.
